Karen is an accomplished RIBA registered architect, with over twenty years’ experience in a broad range of building types, but with a particular emphasis on high-quality, bespoke, residential properties.

Karen’s strength lies in the concept and design stage, and her many years’ experience in detail and project management have helped her to become adept at creating wonderful solutions for our clients.  Karen’s approach is to sketch ideas by hand whilst getting to know the site, client and brief.  This keeps the design fluid, until it is clear what the solution is going to be, before developing it in CAD and 3D ready for planning submission.

 As well as being one of our most experienced architects, Karen is also an addicted urban sketcher…  and if she’s not in the office, that probably means she’s off drawing cities and urban areas.  We love seeing Karen’s fascinating and ever-changing catalogue of building styles and details.  If you call into our office you’ll see many of Karen’s pieces on display!
